About me

I started this blog in 2010 as an outlet for my thoughts after the ambulance I was in was run off the road by a texting driver. Apparently this incident increased my PTSD just a tad.

I left EMS in 2011 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. I realized I wanted to go to Graduate school…and in May 2014, I graduated with a Masters in Communication from the University of Texas at Tyler.

I have spent countless hours researching paramedic communication in order to help all the other medics/EMTs who are suffering form the same problems I had during my time.  I am beginning (Fall 2014) my PhD studies in Health Communication at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

I also ride my bike (A LOT) to think and relieve stress….

I don’t blog as much as I should, but I try. This is a wonderful palce to get some emotional closure on my wacky life.
